Hydro jetting is an effective, versatile and efficient drain-clearing method for clearing stormwater, sanitary and trade waste drainage systems large and small.

Brown and Son Plumbing uses the BAR Hydro jet system, with the Honda motor. This produces 5000psi @ 23L/minute. The Hydro-jet system is mounted onto our purpose-built Toyota Hilux single cab chassis ute, which enables us to dedicate this quality service to this vehicle. Built to carry all of the equipment we need to tackle the toughest blockage and our drain camera equipment to diagnose issues and assist with the cleaning. The Hilux is designed to get our team right to the blockage in every instance, whether your blockage is in a basement car park, or anywhere else, we can tackle it with ease, care and safety.

Hydro jetting uses a high-pressure stream of water that can be adjusted to suit the size of your drain.

There are many ways a drain pipe can become blocked. There might be a tree root in the drain pipe or a build-up of flushed material which has accumulated. Through diagnosing the problem with our CCTV Camera, Brown and Son Plumbing are able to offer targeted solutions, and ensure the long-lasting functionality of your drainage system.

CCTV Drain Inspections

Brown and Son Plumbing uses both the Ridgid Seasnake drain camera and the Rothenburger Rocam in conjunction with the Ridgid locators to gain images of above and below-ground drainage systems.

CCTV inspection quickly identifies drain issues and enables us to recommend the appropriate repairs.

Our fully licenced plumbing team are trained in the use of CCTV inspection technology and can assist their commercial and residential clients with diagnosing drain issues such as misalignment, blockages, pipework breaks and obstruction by tree roots.

Sewer cameras mean we are able to look at the inside of the drain, which means no guesswork and no surprises.  In most cases we camera before AND after we clear the drain blockage, to give you full transparency. Brown and Son Plumbing are able to provide you with images and detailed reports of the drain issues and in some instances where the data is critical a copy of the footage on USB can be provided, if requested.

No two drains are alike. Once we have established the problem, we clear the blockage using high-powered equipment with clearing heads of between 2-8” that can cut through tree roots and clear blockages.
